You will not find a more thorough, professional and caring periodontist who is up on all the latest ,best practices. I've been seeing periodontists in other cities where I've lived over the last50 years and Dr. Izzara and staff are the best.

I am a practicing dentist in Gwinnett County. I had extensive upper and lower periodontal surgery yesterday, not to correct damage from bacterial disease, but to surgically assist with braces. Many years ago I had braces that were not optimal. This led to loss of bone and gums around my teeth due to bite trauma. Dr Izzara is one of the very few periodontists in Atlanta who do this procedure as it takes an extremely skilled surgeon to perform it. Bone and gum tissue are added (grafted) around the teeth to replace the tissues lost from the bite trauma and to allow for the correction of the bite with orthodontics. Without this surgical procedure, combined with exception orthodontics, I would eventually lose my teeth. Dr. Izzara and her team are both highly skilled and compassionate. I would not allow anyone else do this difficult procedure for me. I highly recommend her and her team for this procedure and any other periodontal treatment you may require. Dr Izzara is excellent!

FINALLY - a doctor who cares! Dr Jacquot explains everything, takes time with the patient, and encourages questions....and the staff is excellent and caring, as well!

He did a gum graft for me, taking tissue from the roof of my mouth and applying it to my lower gums. Two years later, he surgically removed large bony outgrowths (tori) from my lower gums. He explained everything clearly before starting and answered all of my and my husband's questions. His staff could not have been better trained or more helpful and pleasant!
